InScribe Chat Room

• Chat Rooms offer live discussion with other InScribers, no matter where they live. If you know the e-mail address of someone with whom you would like to chat, you can set up a time convenient to both, then both go to the chat room at the same time.
• This Chat Room has been set up by InScribe supporter, Leslea Brodie.
• NOTE: This link may not work on some browsers or on some computers using MS Vista. It checks out on Vista with Firefox, both updated with latest fixes, etc.

• When you hit the link above, you will be asked if you want to run a java program. Say “YES” or “RUN” (Note, the tag says this is an unregistered program. Ignore this... it is because this program is no longer available and cannot be registered)
• Another box opens with a place for your user name. Put the name you want to use in this box, then go to the upper left and click on “Connect.”
• The screen on the right will show the user names of others who are in the chat room.
• To use, set a topic for your chat by typing it into the box at the bottom of the chat room screen.
• Then to chat, type whatever you want to say in the box at the bottom. Use short sentences.
