I’ve been exploring several resources to take my writing to the next level. You may want to check out some of them as well. (Please note: At the present time, I am not an affiliate of any of these people or products.)
Because I’m planning to self-publish a number of ebooks, I was thrilled to come across Sarah Ettritch’s Self-Publishing for Canadians. It’s a thin volume that includes a link to up-to-date information. I love her step-by-step program. It makes the process understandable and doable.
I’m also reading Amy Schmittauer’s Vlog Like a Boss and Joanna Penn’s The Successful Author Mindset.
I also signed up for Mark Dawson’s Self-Publishing 101. Although the course is currently closed, it will re-open this summer. It’s chockfull of great information and a lot of bonus material.
Just today I signed up for a trial version of Kristen Oliphant’s Create If Writing paid community. It’s a real steal at $17 USD per month. Kristen is a Christian who has gained a lot of knowledge over her years as a blogger.
I’m also a member of the COMPEL training. COMPEL is the training arm of Proverbs 31 Ministries. Membership is a little expensive, but there is a wealth of information on the site I have not yet explored and more is being added weekly. In addition, you can join one of their Facebook groups for encouragement and/or critiquing.
I faithfully listen to several writing-related podcasts/vlogs , including the following:
