This is a magazine for environmentally aware general consumers.
Its mission is to “make living in an environmentally-aware
way easy, understandable, and practical.”
Written for general consumers, it shows people how to “make small changes that
add up to big benefits for their wallets, for their health,
and, of course, for the health of the planet. Not political
or activist, it is chock-full of simple, useful, ideas,
broken down into achievable steps that make going green a
gradual and affordable process rather than an all-or-nothing
plunge.”
There are two kinds of Green Guide feature articles: service-based plans for
green living, and in-depth product reviews:
Service Features - The service articles will break down the process of living
greener into simple steps, e.g. 10 ways to reduce their carbon footprint, or a
planner that shows how spending on greener products saves money in the long run.
Product Reviews - The product reviews look at products from both sustainability
and quality perspectives. Green Guide editors analyze the entire lifecycle of a
product: materials, manufacturing, packaging, energy use, disposability, etc. |

acceptance for nonfiction articles about gardening with focus on focus
on the human, not how-to side.
